Feels like that type of year in other sports where barely anyone will easily recall in the next few years. All of the complaints and issues from the retake meta itself to the map pool to the event production to the narratives to the other shit, this entire year just feels like a waste of time.
2022 and 2023 spoiled us maybe, hopefully next year will be more exciting overall with a lot less complaints and issues. It’s genuinely just sad to see this esport feel so dull throughout the entire year with all the negativity flowing around.
