btw I didn't watch a single china regional game and am confused cuz end of last year china was looking good and improving but the shat the bed this year (apart from now)
why edg sucked: they tried to imitate other regions and had 0 confidence their practice because they themselves believed chinese wins is a flawed metric
why te sucked: they choke and choke and choke
why drg sucked: they fluked against te and vo0kashu hard carry
why fpx sucked: they trolled against sen so bad, their comp, their map picks all trash
why blg sucked: just mid as fuck
haodong was old igl, nobody was initiator i believe, haodong lacked firepower
-haodong +simon, simon util usage and synergy is insane, and he can shoot, nobody is igl now which is not bad, but u can tell his aim decreased a bit and he sometimes does braindead stuff
overall the simon addition was huge
Looked like at the start of the year, they also had Kangkang trying something different and not OPing as much but they are slowly going back to the roots of what made them + the fact that Smoggy is said to have some insane reads on the enemy team while not being the main caller for him to focus on aiming +Chichoo is finally showing his potential plus the fact that the can have Haodong's mind as an asst coach while having nobody shotcalling means they still got their 3 great minds and s1mon who is an aimer compared to how Haodong was
