Single elimination SUCKS

Single elimination with bo3 format is kinda rng dependent. They had to make it bo5 for playoffs or double elimination with bo3. Hope they do that in the Champions at least

Not in masters tho, its basically still a qualifier. Riot planned on doing it double elim anyways but iz didnt work out. Champion should always be single elim tho but all games Bo5, snowballing is to easy in val to make it a Bo3 imo

I think they overcomplicated the VCT schedule with the LCQs
If LCQ wasn't there Berlin could be double Elim playoffs or BO5s

Agree, at least bo5 for playoffs. But I think the main problem is that the time for the Masters is too short.

People didnt whine about it. They never presented a double elim bracket, i think u mean the grand final in groups, wich indeed is trash

Well the format is also gonna be good. Double elim is shit for major events, just makes some games lower stakes. But for masters (qualifiers) its absolutley useful

i want it to be rng i dont want all the matches be "meaningless" because you know who will win. I want the element of surprise and the potential upsets
