VCT could work without any region, technically, except for Americas I guess, the problem it raises is where do you set the line between equality of regions and fair competitive scene. Americas is the most stacked region, yet the number of slots is the same as with APAC and EMEA which are not so stacked.

I feel like apac is already slowly fixing itself. Never before have so many apac teams been regarded as strong teams. It's tragic that only 1 team of apac makes it to champions playoffs but by no means does that require us to fix apac.
