i've seen plenty of people have 4 stars, disappear for a while, and come back with zero stars on the same account

Just watch when geospliced is active and say you agree to gengs statement. He will call it a "political bait" and get you banned for 2 weeks and remove your stars with 5 min cool down for each post.

its because to maintain stars you need to be active. You don't need to be banned to get your stars removed. They will disappear if you stay away long enough
