Can anyone really explain what Split 3 is for? Split 2 from South Asia was concluded with Revenant heading to Ascension. What is at stake for teams participating in Split 3 considering Ascension is off the table?

RepulsioN999 [#6]That's it? Seems like an absolute waste but hey what do I know. The premier teams can get a spot for next year but no real incentive to somehow upset established orgs and make it to ascension this year which makes it quite farcical considering a year in Valorant is a long time.
note that without sp3 there is a long as gap offseasons and there's no more reason for orgs to maintain roster ---> pros getting the boot.
sp3 helps alleviate that issue, whether it works or not is another story

Yeah I get that's why they have this event so that there is atleast some Valorant to fill the void between seasons but I still don't think it's the best for the premier teams or just the scene in general.

It never is, Valorant scene is somehow much closer to dota than it is to cs. There's 2 masters and 1 champions and no one except few gives a shit about the rest 😂😂.
