Basically any performing apac/pacific team in events before champs have done horribly at champs.
2021 - VS (did well at Berlin, bombed out of champs)
2022 - ZETA (3rd at Iceland, grouped in champs), PRX (2nd at Copenhagen, grouped in champs)
2023 - (prx doesn’t exactly count because their play style had to adapt to the addition of cgrs before champs but they did break the curse), DRX (3rd-4th lock-in, performed ight in champs)
2024 - GENG (Master Shanghai champs to getting grouped), PRX (3rd at Madrid to ???)
