That’s why when a team wins two trophies or has very high placements like GenG and FNC, it’s extremely impressive.That’s why the “best” team cannot always win Champions.

that's what fns was saying in their podcast about how the schedule is so compact and so unforgiving especially with you having an almost 5-6 month offseason once your season ends. i miss having consistent tourneys and matches and having the year end in the winter.
the only offseason tourneys we see are redbull homeground and now afrecca tv(unless you're a sen fan then you get more like the sen invitational)
but leo doesn't give af. riot doesn't give af. they dent care about their pros, community, or content creators. they only care about pumping out those $150-$200 bundles so that he can sit nicely at home with his stacks of money

With the amount of money they're getting from those bundles, it's probably doable to host more Masters tournaments with Champs towards the end of the year. For a team/player to have half the year off because they couldn't make it to Champs must feel so demoralizing.

100% especially with the esports winter coming its gonna be tough for some teams. OXG esports already got their entire org shutdown and that was only the first team. im expecting more of that to happen
