Question: wouldn't the public opinion on something differ from culture to culture? I.e. wouldn't it be a more accurate survey for your purposes if it was answered solely by people from your region?

That may be true but this a simple survey just for a highschool assignment all thats required is 25 valid responses I am not too concerned with acedemic accuracy
