can anyone explain wtf happened to Liquid this year? i swear on paper they didn't look as mediocre as they did coming into the season. was it bad coaching decisions, roster moves, or smth else?

does this imply that they made the roster with the intention of having excellent individual firepower? Nats is still very clean from what i recall of watching split 1, but that's about all I can tell from my limited exposure to the region

very bad fundamentals which meant strats weren't able to be executed properly, no fragging power apart from keiko and nats, poor igling and midrounding. team have good chemistry and the team managers like the players but they just didnt convert from any prac

Set plays were poor, talent was mediocre besides nats who didnt even perform all that well this year, team play and discipline looks as good as one of the chinese teams, excutes were horrid

that's unfortunate. i never really had strong feelings for the org but for how well the apeks core did in tier 2 I was saddened to see they didn't finish on the top half of the season.
