We need to talk about this. Remember during kickoff and madrid, FNS was praising SEN defense and how they don't rotate and leave gaps on their defense? But nowadays they have the most horrendous defense and gets lurked on every other round, even with a double senti comp! How did we get here? What changed?

GenG didn't lose their identity. They still make plays of their intuitions and player strength. Whereas, we probably got shit on by M80 in a scrim and kaplan said cut that shit out and it feels like we threw our whole concept of how to play the game out of the window LMAO

could be one, could be five. who knows? I'm just saying, It feels like they are trying to copy others when all they had to do was improve their play style and design comps according to that. SEN were getting read so they had to change comps and switch up here and there but you can't forget the fundamentals and can't forget how to play the game entirely.

Other teams got better at manipulating rotations and we have also gotten less confident in our own game, a few mistakes fixed and better defaults could have won us Haven, but sadly here we are

oh okay. I agree but i think rather than being impatient they skimped on doing their due diligence. Their default was bad. Like on Ascent, they were tryna throw B fakes with B main presence only but didn't even kill the kj alarm in pizza or have any A main control so how is that gonna work ever? You are in a choke and you haven't thinned them out anywhere. GenG have no reason to buy the fake. I don't understand how a pro team that won a trophy can be this lackluster. They must have noticed this but during the game it seems that they don't do their due diligent properly and just hopes for the best. But the game doesn't work like that against proper teams.

Sen defence is only good on split and sunset and maybe lotus on some days, they were always mid on the rest of the map pool

yeah their defense has always been historically bad

they rely too much on set retakes and don’t adapt enough in time (prob bc johnqt is still new)

they also just deadass never push on defense for info and map control so tenz always just gets in a 1v5 situation

Sen's match against GenG yesterday that they are not adjusting to the map
For example:
GenG used Skye, Skye can be used as sova and kayo and it opened a door for viper and munchkin's lurking viper was really good.
In Ascent, playing without a flash agent pushed them to the backseat
