PRX probably won't win but being an underdog is honestly better for PRX, since they won't have additional pressure from being the favorites.

They'll probably make the playoffs and i can see them place in top 4-6(imo)

i was thinking this too, everyone had fnatic winning it all last year and prx ended up making it to the grand finals though skye being meta was hugely in their favor

they gotta tweak their comps tho, them being unable to play a standard Ascent comp is a huge weak spot

they dont have a traditional sentinel player or a sova player. they are cooked on ascent. theres no winning ascent against a good team.

can't he play Sova on Ascent?

he played sova on ascent against geng if im not wrong. his darts were genuinely going outside the map. their gameplan on ascent heavily relies on smth getting a kill and dismissing away which isnt great.

sadly i think that comes down to jingg agent pool, they literally almost ran the same default ascent comp except he was on sage before

they could try jingg on deadlock for ascent since lev made use of the comp very well compared to sen

I don't think their condition is bad. The problem is, because of the must-Haven ban, PRX have to play Ascent in every Bo3. Of course, there will be some comps and strats they have hidden. But nothing will be more efficient than the basic comp.

not that good tbh, map rotation isn't on their favor
two weak maps = haven, ascent
average = bind, icebox
they only goated on sunset

unlucky for them g2 perma bans sunset and are really good on bind. i’m still not so sure about icebox i think prx might be better but g2 has made a recovery on that too

They are still good enough to beat fut and EDG. If 4/5 of them are in peak form they can beat g2 (assuming please prx cook something up like what they usually do when they are struggling) so they probably can get out of groups.

After that it get difficult as the free teams are out. They can probably beat fpx/th/sen (assuming all 3 stay at current form) and vit but thats it
