I usually play on 1280x1024 resolution at 240hz but now the 240hz option is gone. I can only use that res at 70hz or 60hz. Same issue with all the other resolutions. However at 1920x1080 the 240hz option is there. Im not sure why this is happening if anyone can help Id be thankful. btw I am not using ultra HD or HD mode.

Its strange because I can create a custom res of the same resolution and I can use it at 240hz but the normal already made version I cannot not sure why

I think you are talking about Nvida, but quick question are you trying to switch the display on your monitor from windows or Nvida?, also can u tell me if you have more than one monitor?

Could you try Windows instead perhaps? Nvida identifies monitors quite strangely, and considering you have two. A possible solution is that your changing the wrong monitor, but I doubt it
