I NEED HELP PLIS

I usually play on 1280x1024 resolution at 240hz but now the 240hz option is gone. I can only use that res at 70hz or 60hz. Same issue with all the other resolutions. However at 1920x1080 the 240hz option is there. Im not sure why this is happening if anyone can help Id be thankful. btw I am not using ultra HD or HD mode.

Get a new Display Cable then, or update new drivers for your graphics card

Did you get a new monitor or new cable perhaps? If not then there is a display driver issue

Its strange because I can create a custom res of the same resolution and I can use it at 240hz but the normal already made version I cannot not sure why

I think you are talking about Nvida, but quick question are you trying to switch the display on your monitor from windows or Nvida?, also can u tell me if you have more than one monitor?

Make sure you’re using letterbox or whatever. Maybe reinstall?

after some time, ur monitor will run out of hurts, it used up the majority of its 240 hz so now ur on 60, enjoy ur last 60 hz 🥹

old thread but i have the same issue as well, been having it for ages. playing with gpu scaling worked for a long time but it doesn't anymore =(
