Never said teams didn't get better, but if u saw Sen attack half on haven, u would notice they legit had 0 map control and were rushing.
Losing attack on haven is bad no matter what, that too 4-8

it’s just unfortunate so many issues came in their way at the worst timing. i’m not sayin it’s excuses bc their opponents were clearly better but it just couldn’t be worse timing. zekken looked happy in the end atleast

the deadlock is not it. but even more than that, till like the end half of Ascent they were not playing together, bad trading, bad coordination, bad holds. all the things that made then win madrid, basically their identity and what made them good as a team was missing. those things shouldnt even been affected regardless of the opponent. i saw a spark of it towards the end of ascent so hopefully they can bring it back if they make champs.
