People don’t realize Wayne started releasing music at 13-14. He had quite a run. In my opinion Kendrick hasn’t been prolific enough to surpass Wayne, and I am doubtful as to whether or not he will have the longevity that Wayne had. He seems somewhat over rapping already.
But to make it simple: Wayne is a better rapper, Kendrick is a better artist

Kendrick definitely makes better music and albums but Waybe is more known for his rapping ability. A lot of his best songs are just pure raps with no hooks
