How come OpTic never won a regional title?

OpTic were the undisputed best team in NA during 2022, being the only team who could really say they performed internationally during 2022

Which makes me wonder how they never won a regional title despite so obviously being the best team in NA

Anyone able to answer this question?

plus it is better to get used to the tournament environment in groups than in the playoffs (avoiding the bye)

because every team values intl. trophies over regional, well except some certain teams
