Just wanted share a realization that stumbled upon me a while ago. If GENG SOMEHOW lose to RRQ and RRQ SOMEHOW beat PRX and send them to the lower bracket and if SOMEHOW PRX lose their first lower bracket match, they're eliminated from the playoffs but still qualify to Champions via Champion points, meaning GENG won't qualify for Champions despite winning Masters Shanghai because PRX have more points than them. But this probably isn't going to happen though so, yeah..

it'll suck if they miss out but tbf part of that has to be on them for playing so mid during the regular splits. just had to win a few more games and they would be chilling

Who would have thought that if you lose playoffs you don't go to Champs

who would have thought that if you win a masters and are runners up for the other one (in addition to kickoff win + stage 1 runners up) you might not qualify

Honestly, I think there is a flaw to this system

yeah I think the flaw is that riot is prioritizing regular season performance over playoff performance- especially from kickoff and international events
It should be a priority to reward teams points that make it far in international tournaments, not reward teams points for simple games
Second-fourth place teams get nothing and that's the issue
