all matches which I see GenG cast in right now, whoever supports GenG is heavily downvoted, is it due to the fact that they are at their peak and It was predictable that they'd win, or is there some other underlying reason to hate the org?
Inort [#3]People cant digest the fact the a pacific team can be great
True. NA and EMEA have dominated FPS games. About time Asia gets the respect they deserve
toofan1 [#2]Prob not performing the way they should
that's not even true tbh.
this iteration of GEN.G was pretty much always shaky domestically, but they always elevate their level of play for international events.
losing a couple of matches in Pacific means nothing if they'll tune it up in Playoffs and Champions, and so far GEN.G always was performing better in the international tournaments

facts, I grew up on OG Counterstrike and it was always EMEA and NA. Good to see some more representation from Asia.

Americas only started dominating in Valorant tbh
CS has been Europe's playground for years

In the early years of CS Esports NA has been on par with EMEA
Inort [#10]Another reason is maybe that they are too disciplined which is also kinda boring for esports. So people want some interesting from them. The only player who is enjoying there is texture
Maybe Karon too and Meteor whenever he plays duelist
r3verie_ [#11]Maybe Karon too and Meteor whenever he plays duelist
Dont know about karon but yeah maybe Meteor too

idk
even CS 1.6 became dominated by Europe after a short period of parity
SK, Fnatic, NaVi, VP Golden Five, mTw(albeit for a short period of time) were constantly at the top
r3verie_ [#11]Maybe Karon too and Meteor whenever he plays duelist
I always have fun watching Meteor tbh
he has a confidence of a maniac and he's constantly searching for duels while playing sentinel, his gameplay is fun as fuck

In that case GEN G wouldnt have been the GENG they are now. If The most experienced players start playing like this it wouldnt have been GENG it would have been GE

they literally take more aggro timings than prx lol
they only play disciplined if theyre man up, otherwise they literally just like to force fights

PRX gameplay so complicated it cannot be compared to any team' s lol
Klaw69 [#21]Is it for them winning shanghai or their current performance in split 2?
No one cares about their current performance except their fans. There's just no reason to hate them

Yes, I mean their regional performance doesn't translate to their international performance, their split 1 results too were kind of similar and yet they won Shanghai which mattered the most. And then there are teams who do very well in regionals, get overhyped and then fumble in masters/champions. People tend to overreact on the most recent performances and results.
