You cant really say anything remotely bad about a player or team before people jump on you and calling you toxic.

calling for players/coaches to be dropped isn't toxic or extreme lol. i dont know how people just magically gets mad and starts attacking you after making a reasonable argument regarding a persons perfomance.

Criticism is okay but saying "fuck you, die forever bastard, I hope you stay unemployed your whole life" is bad.
There is a way to criticize and certain fanbases just don't know how to.

because most of the time the criticism is useless and reactionary

player has bad game? washed. bot. throwing.
player has bad split/tournament? they fell off. need to make changes. pay check stealing

im not saying fans can't criticize, but I hope you realize that esports isn't traditional sports
esports players are much more connected to the online audience, and that online audience is far more toxic

and besides, we dont know the circumstances behind them. some of it could be team related, personal issues.. etc. and players go through cycles of up and down periods it's very natural.
but its funny to me how much sentiment can change after a few bad games or split. also most of the time the players/staff themselves are very aware of the issues. you're not telling them anything new
