Demon1 has a role issue that he needs to fix, and he probably will fix if he has the drive to prove himself again so giving roster ideas with demon1 at head duelist is not what vlr should be doing

I don't think demon1 has a role issue. he has comfortable flexed into smokes on EG and still dominated. I believe the coaching staff on NRG was to blame don't think the players did bad at all really. Bringing in Vladk0r, taniz, and the other guy was kind of a downfall tbh to many voices for a team. They could not adapt to meta or really use demon1 how he was used on EG.

Yes but that type or role style only fits with a specific player (jawgemo) and idk if they would want to take their best player s0m off full time smokes to play raze/neon to accommodate him

s0m was the best player on nrg when he was playing duelist. getting new coaching staff im sure would help. if nrg want to win it think it would be smart to build around demon1, s0m, and fns core and fill those empty spots in. hard to say ethan is still a really good player also. i think without a doubt tho the entire coaching staff at nrg is getting the boot.

I honestly dont think FNS is the right call for NRG anymore. Theyre trying so hard to keep the OpTic core alive its not even funny anymore. They have one of the best players in the world sitting as a fucking substitute which is such a joke. The team needs a full revamp and needs to mix it up this offseason

there are a lot of tier 2 good players that deserve way more than them, but shitcor and trashies stick onto optech's flukish legacy and steal their deserved tier 1 spots

I know how the game works, but the problem is you have to have both on the same team in order for it to work. Clearly there is a lack of fire power across the whole team, and there mental as well as strats have been down. From one of the best teams last year to a team that looks like it would be in tier 2, they're running out.

any team would look like they’re tier 2 caliber with less than a month prep and the shitty comps that the coaches made for nrg

the real reason why nrg looked bad this split was because the coaches tried to innovate comps as a gamble in order to be ahead of the other teams due to the lack of prep time and protocols, they didn’t even think of just picking ascent even though ascent has been the exact same meta for the last 3 years

mind you taking all this into consideration they still looked way better in comparison to last split where they got back to back 13-3ed by a shitty leviatan
