im already crying tears of sadness
There are no mickey mouse tournaments. The finalists of that tournament were literally the same as champs. If you're calling that tournament mickey mouse, then that means you are calling champs 2022 mickey mouse. This is braindead.
Optic was the most consistent team of 2022, stop trying to erase history. Gambit was the most consistent team in 2021, Fnatic in 2023, and now GenG in 2024. This is not that difficult to comprehend.
You are stating literal misinformation. The meta was the same. It was the chamber meta. The map pool was practically the same.
NRG and Loud literally played Ascent, Breeze, and Bind in both grand finals with the same compositions.
Other's accomplishments are not invalidated because someone didn't show up. Your supposed favorite lost to DRX twice in champs.
Optic's win is 100% valid and you need to stop coping about it.
Chamber was still on top but it doesnt mean that the meta hasnt changed
A literal new agent got released and a lot of comps for the maps got changed and the comps were different in loud vs optic games
Are you braindead??? How tf would valorant be played in the same way after a few months
Also yeah
A win cannot be valid if one of favourites didnt attend it
Its common sense
Of course the meta is not identical after several months. But it was largely the same.
Optic, Loud, and FPX were favorites. Too bad that FPX didn't get to attend.
Russia won the 2014 olympics. Considering that Russia is banned from the olympics currently because of political reasons, and the ban started shortly after 2014 bc of Crimea, are you going to call the rest of the olympics invalid? That's braindead.
It's FPX's problem that they couldn't attend. FPX did not win every other event that year. They performed worse than Optic and Loud in the most important event of the year. FPX being a "favorite" is purely off of hype from regional performance. Optic's win is perfectly valid.
