why did kru pick mta

i dont get why they signed him he was not even top 10 player in tier 2 in latam and he only played 1 season in tier 2 as a duelist

Mta was supposed to be the initiator, take that into account, there are a lot of role issues in KRÜ

1. Daveeys died (QEPD) so they lost an oper and sentinel and honestly he was the best player on KRÜ 2023
2. They wanted to sign Darker from Fusion and drop Klaus but he was in contract jail and couldn't pick him up
3. Shyy came in to patch for Daveeys, but he is a different type of player and wasn't part of the project
4. Mta comes as a second option and he is supposed to play initiator, he gets injured and is replaced by Heat
5. Heat played good and KRÜ started to win so they weren't able to make the changes they wanted long ago
6. Now they are losing so they get the chance to make the changes they wanted before, drop Klaus and get Mta to play but now he is playing flex and roles he hasnt played before (he was a duelist in tier 2)

It's sad that we lost, but I'm happy that Atom finally got to make these changes, he must know something we don't

remembering how great daveeys was sucks because he would have dominated this year. it sucks that we only got to see him play for so long

he was a great player and kru couldn't pick anyone else, like gambusia said darker was in contract jail, now that he's in EXL kru might want him again, he can fill the flex role well

mta was full spamming smokes in ranked for a while, the -klaus instead of -melssr change is weird, now he's not rly performing and kru as a whole seem to have either peak gameplay or just straight up T2 calling and mid rounding

he showed that in tier 2 definitely if you watch his games, the thing is he was a talented duelist on a very mid team, and since hes been the 6th he fries pros playing duelist in NA ranked but thats not all that matters at the end of the day and it shows because he looks lost rn and takes a lot of dumb fights while playing a diff role
