Why did NRG change their roster?

If you look at their games they only really had one bad loss against an inform Leviatan. That EG loss was close and EG is not a terrible team. Then they lost to the Americas champs in form. Looking at how they beat the bottom tier teams they showed some promise. Imo the roster change was the biggest overreaction.

they had 0 structure and marved was really bad dude like i like him but he was awful

this move was really for next season, i doubt they expected any results this season

idk, I think something had to be done. We could tell from the outside that the internal dynamic was crumbling, which defo doesn't have a quick fix so I think a change was warranted

True maybe not so drastic though. I think benching demon1 was not a good idea and bringing bad fns was an even worse idea. Drop marved still and bring in a new Igl on smokes.

I just don’t think fns is the future of this team. Always better to try to invest in young talent if your focused on the future

Drop fns, crashies, Vic and focus on a som, ethan, demon1 rebuild

I think Crashies or Victor will be out, and Demon1 will come in.

I get flamed for it but I truly think demon1 was the only good move they made, I think he's a phenomenal player but I think he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time when it came to NRG. I think bringing in FNS was a bad move now, I would imagine it as an off season endeavour. In the short term I would've just tried to find a solid t2 talent to fill in the gap for this year

True it’s unrealistic but Zander did Igl V1 but doubt they could have gotten him. Just unfortunate that I think they would have been better off with no change

I completely agree with you. I like what Boostio said when every team needs that guy with fire power and that was absolutely demon1. Just needed time to get out of his slump and he needed to be properly utilized
