wdym not the consistency of aspas? He may not be top fragging like crazy, but he's a flex and should'nt be expected to. But he's always been performing well and I can't name a section of matches where he didn't play at least solidly.

his mechanics are still easily top 10% in valorant

well the topic should have been Best of all time in each role but if I had 2 players in the same role, both great peaks, but 1 has multiple major and the other does not, I would lean towards the former. Not downplaying forsaken, but as a neutral, there were times forsaken was silent in certain games like chronicle did for some parts of his career too.
everyone has their own opinion tho, so don't get too worked up

I get it, I'm not saying he should be the goat. I just don't get why people don't at least put him in the convo. The ONE thing he doesn't have compared to most other goat contenders is a trophy, and I understand he should not be the goat because of that.

I just don't understand why people downplay everything else JUST because he doesn't have a trophy.

edit: here are Aspas's stats of all time on Raze and Jett:

Jett: 1.25 250.2 1.44 158.4 75% 0.91
raze: 1.19 251.2 1.27 166.9 76% 0.88

Now f0rsaken's stats on these agents:

Jett: 1.21 276.8 1.33 170.5 74% 0.96
Raze: 1.10 262.2 1.20 167.7 75% 0.88

These are decently similar. Whe f0rsaken is put up against argubally the goat, on the same agents, they have decently similar stats. His performance is pretty similar to the goat. He can play on any agent. He's an IGL, alebit not the true sense of an IGL. I don't get why people don't put him in the convo at minimum.

aspas has played jett and raze since the beginning, forsaken stopped playing jett and raze regularly from 2022 or so = not a fair matchup. in fact, considering the duration and number of games played and the standard of games played (challengers vs masters/champs), aspas's record is quite amazing.
aspas played 155 times of jett, 86 of raze, compared to jason's 116 and 47.
he is not a dedicated igl like boaster/munchkin/johnqt
community note of sort.

although I get the point you are trying to convey and do agree on some parts

Chronicle has 3 Trophies, 4 Finals, has been good for all of 2020-2024
F0rsaken has 0 Trophies, 2 Finals, has been good for all of 2022-2024

wdym "despite chronicle being forced onto the initator role"? being forced onto initiator means he now plays agents like Sova and Skye, which he never did before(from the couple of matches I checked during Champs 2023 and Tokyo)

Also, this data is biased af as FNC now have a sub, meaning they are changing around their comps for him. During Tokyo and Champs 2023, chronicle basically only played Viper, Kayo, and Breach. That is not a flex, that is a Viper + flash init player.

we arent only talking about 2023-2024 (Viper, Flash Initiator, Sentinel player).

We are also talking about his prime Gambit days in 2021 (Recon Initiator god, Smokes, and Sentinel player - top 3 player of the year after nAts and cNed).

In 2022, he also played a lot of duelist (Neon, Raze), Chamber, and smokes.

Idk what drug you are taking to make yourself think he isnt a flex...

sure, when he was playing for prime gambit he counts as a true flex, but not right now. The only reason he's on these different agents is because they're trying to make the new guy comfy. Normally, he would not count as a flex. Sure, you can argue best peak flex, but he isn't a flex right now and is only playing different agents because of the team member swap
