The Problem with 100T

The main issue I saw with this team even before Shanghai is that they don't have a fallback guy. If the team is underperforming, there is no consistent person on the team that can keep them in the game and composed. When they're shooting across all cylinders, they are an amazing team, top 3 even. But when even 1-2 people underperform, they drag the rest of the team down.

Their early success I believe was from the change that Boostio/Zikz brought but Boostio can only keep the mental stable, he's not a round-winning criteria.

If you look at other top teams, SEN, Gen G, TH, EG and others, they all have players like jawg, woot, texture, zekken/tenz that can have consistent performances and influence rounds. Even on bad starts, they can keep their team somewhat in the game so that their teammates can bounce back/warm up.

I love Cryo but he is wildly inconsistent and so is everyone else on the roster. You can have Boostio hyping the team up as much as you want but again, it doesn't translate to performance. They really need a rock on the team.

At this point in the season, it'd be dumb to make a roster change. It's too close to champs. I would hope for a bounce back and to get back in Shanghai form. Then place 5-6th in Champs. That's a good season if I'm Zikz or a player on 100T. Then in the offseason, I'd make roster changes.

TL;DR: 100T doesn't have a reliable "rock" of a player they can rally/build around.

100% agree. Always the problem with 100t is that they can never keep a solid line of consistency. I’m not sure what goes on in the team to have such a history of ups and downs but we definitely need our own alfajer-entity

ok listen to my hot take but they should import FF Ruxic for Bang, this guy is insane, best smoker stats in Turkish T2 and hes just 19yo and we know how good turkish T2 players are (Wo0t, Riens, Yetujey, Alfajer), just imagine a guy with Alfajer aim on smokes whos also consistent

I also think they need cryo on the main entry duelist role instead of these weird everchanging roles they have, cryo is 100x the better entry agent than asuna. Id say get rid of asuna and bang, get a good flex and smokes player.

i can agree that cryo on duelist isnt mid, in fact, i dont think he has ever been mid, I just dont think i can agree with getting rid of asuna and bang. But I can't really offer anything better to do so idrk

it sucks i know but you can't keep certain players who unfortunately are not that good and had many times to prove them selves just because you know the fanbase loves them or something. They should only do roster changes at the end of the season btw, i find roster changes in the middle of season very cringe.

If you want to be a top team you need top duelists, asuna can't hang with top players like jawg, aspas, victor, oxy. If you look at LOUD they are a prime example of how important a good duelist is, in no way are LESS, SAADHAAK, PANCADA, CAUAN and TUYZ bad at all but because they have no real "duelist" they cannot compete or hang with certain teams.

I wouldn't discredit them that much. At the time, they were firing on all cylinders and could've won Shanghai.
