saying "we" when referring to a team you support AS A FAN doesn't make sense.

unless you're a player, coach, owner, or have invested a lot of time and money into directly supporting the team, how are you a part of "we"?

i love PRX, consume their content, bought their bundle, and ruin my sleep schedule to watch their games, but i will never contribute enough to say "we" when referring to the victories and hardships of the team

I say we when talking about sen bc technically I'm a sen owner. So yeah im apart of sen. That's means I'm the masters Madrid winner

When I refer to 100T I say we because as far as Im concerned the owners, players, investors, fans etc are united under one banner and fight for their team either way,
But I see your point in that there isn't really direct involvement.

It's actually okay to use we. It's just a turn on words to say the team the player is supporting.
For example, "We won the world cup."
Doesn't mean I played in it. But also doesn't mean I am claiming to be on the field, working my ass off for the team.
You cannot take everything on word value and gotta evaluate what the words actually imply. English is weird.
