Title + I feel like it was the tournament with the least talent from all the teams and just the least interesting final. Both Gen G and TH played well but Idk thoughts?

I really liked it personally, I just think it's not talked as much because the timezone was bad for EU+NA viewers so they don't have as much of an experience with it and much to talk about.
why does everyone keeps saying teams with lest talent qualified for shanghai?? like nobody asked the most talented teams to NOT qualify?
I feel like it wasn't forgettable at all, I mean FPX almost beating GenG and Heretics alone makes it unforgettable for me. Sure they were boring games but it wasn't that forgettable either

Yeah i think honestly this is most likely it. Being in ET time meant i could only watch the later games unless i was up at 3 AM, but also I guess Korea will be the same, but maybe it will be better IMO

How can I forget the fakest comeback in history pulled by FPX against TH only to lose because of a misplay by life 😂 . Fr bro that game had me standing and punching the air in the middle of a library.
For me, Masters Tokyo and Masters Shanghai are the 2 International tournament in pacific Timezone, so it’s NOT the most forgettable. Also pacific won 1st trophy, therefore it’s becoming the most memorable by FAR.
it feels that way now because the teams are new and just starting to be dominant but imo the finalists will be top 3 in any future event even if those “more talented” teams participate
StalwartTiger_35 [#12]For me yeah but mostly bc of time zone. I liked Swiss stage a lot
On a real note, the fact the G2 qualified and then continued to go that far in to the stage was annoying, not because sen didnt qualify, but because they were such a boring team to watch in my opinion. They arent bad its just they werent good, no special players who were insane, just a decent team which is boring to me
