their rosters weren't the same when they first played. OXG made a considerable upgrade
the difference is that the yay move was a bad decision in practice for a mix of IGL and role issues stemming from them going "Fuck it who cares about roles he's the best player in the world". OXG's change was actually calculated, made a lot of sense, and most important of all, worked in practice
Maybe if yay knew how to play with more agents, not just pre-nerf chamber, DSG and C9 wouldn't have had role issues. It's on yay no matter what
