MaKo’s Omen

Seems like his omen and viper are night and day this year. All of his worst performances are on omen. Tbh you can look at any Cobtroller in the worlds stats on omen even Karon and it’s nothing to write home about but do you think someone else should take that omen role and have Mako stick to viper and astra maybe

He just had 2 bad games with Omen on Sunset bro :( He still had the best rating with Omen when they lost to GenG in Kickoff. I don't think anyone itw use Omen better than him, the way he use smokes, the timing, and you can easily see that he always get a lot off assists when he plays Omen (really high APR, please check)

that’s true, i didn’t actually look into it. Guess that subset really isn’t his map. Also another example of how dependent DRX are on MaKo playing well

True, when he doesn't perform well, there's high chance that DRX will lost that map :(

Yeah I was also about to say that sunset is his worst map by far, but he's still doing his job really well. He got 15 assists yesterday despite not having many kills, and that is where I think the controller role shines, because they are support players. Makos omen is really good though. I hope that DRX plays mako on omen on Haven because I've never seen a better defense omen anchor on Haven than mako on c site. He mostly plays viper now though. Which isn't bad, but I like watching him play omen or brim or even astra a lot more.

Same, ngl I don't understand why he always get such a crazy APR stat with Omen/Brim. Last year both Master Tokyo and Champions his APR is > 0.5 and in top 3 of both tournaments. When he plays Viper, he has less assists than usual I think
