Casting in the Us and A is fine for him? Even if he refuses to cast on Saudi Arabia and China? Thats a double standard.
To be fair it’s a difficult line to draw since many countries have something you can use against them
he did, people just like to be mad without learning about his opinions xD
still perfectly fine to disagree after, but its always a bit sad to see how many people are just upset for the sake of being upset
I don't know how u can hate sideshow, this guy is great and yeah USA is not like Saudis and China who use it for their image.
People are mad about anything.
I dislike the US too, but the whole not going for the other two were due to actions happened around the time the event was happening. It wasn't just a "this country bad, not going!" as much as a "this country is doing X and Y bad right now, I can't be in a place that support such actions".
That being said, the US literally finances and keeps tip-toeing around the genocide happening in Gaza, so I don't really agree he has much of a moral stance to do that (as in I literally don't think China is worse than the US at any level).
I also do not agree with opinions like "ah, any country has something if you look for it" as we all know there are levels of which thing happening, and actively financing the killing of or actively killing people is much, much worse than like a corrupt govern, for example. There are countries that are worse than other countries in human rights, it's not a "anyone has dirt" kind of thing.
