Because that's stupid? Just play on PC
It would make the game completely unfair for people on controllers, everyone HAS to be balanced
There's a reason why some E-Sports scenes have different tourneys for different things (kb, mobile, etc)

Also, the game mechanics are wired differently on console, so you would need an entirely separate system catered to console VALORANT rather than PC VALORANT. For example, I heard that phoenix flashes are nerfed in the console edition to be dodgeable on console.

unfortunate :( . i have a couple friends who can just now access valorant because of the beta, i was hoping that i would be able to play with them eventually. even if it's unrated only like overwatch or accessible only by enabling it like r6
