G2 REAL fix

I know this is beating a dead horse, but they need to get rid of Icy. Yes, I know he does his job and entries, but this is not nearly enough to contend against other franchised teams. The rest of his team can't always carry him, he would need to AT LEAST be able to get opening kills consistently when entrying.

I kinda feel bad for the guy cause he's getting a lot of criticism, but boy is that criticism valid. He just isn't ready for this level of play and is always getting diffed by enemy duelists.

Just as an example, imagine how well G2 would do with someone like Zekken, or even Oxy or Asuna (on raze).

No disrespect, just stating the obvious here.

I'm of the opinion that he should be given more time to improve. Results aren't something you immediately see

G2's 3rd place feels like 3rd place finish of Zeta they ain't going to comeback.

IMO this is true for teams, not individuals, his performance individually is pretty bad even with good team support man

icy has his issues, but he reminds me of sym on MXM

sym was a weak link in stats on MXM but he’d do his job as duelist and allow his teammates to shine as a result.

it’s hard to tell if having a mechanically better duelist would make G2 better, since how he plays might be by design

btw i am not a G2 fan

This exact thing happened with qck. And he showed up pretty big near the end of Stage 1. I just wish he didn't get dropped anyway 😔

How is a team to improve overall if players themselves aren't given enough time to individually improve? just my way of seeing it tho

That was his best option I feel when it came down to stepping away from the team. Everyone just shit on him for not living up to expectations that were impossible to fulfill
