Do you think valo crowd will ever be as insane as Cs crowd? Also do you think valo fans would even be able to handle Cs like crowd with how they keep on crying about lock in or sanghai crowd? Maybe if valo eSports survive for 10 years more maybe crowd might be as insane as Cs crowd in my opinion.

You know it's funny how it's only CS fans that care.

I like both games but the crowd is pretty underwhelming

val fans dont like decent crowds, this is supposed to be a hype game for the grand finals and it feels like a group stage game in terms of athmosphere? Its not even cs even r6 has better crowds than this

As someone who has been to two events in person during the group stage, the crowd is good.

If you mean I am Cs fan then I have to say the truth that I haven't watched more than 5 Cs matches completely till date. Just found it funny how some valo fans were d*ck riding Cs crowd but those same guys can't handle this sanghai crowd despite the fact that there are still some cheering for geng as well.

i think a problem with crowd perception recently has been the home team doesn't have a team to support. CS dallas was crazy cause stewie being NA hero in the finals. Rn they're playing in china with zero home crowd representative plus cultural differences when it comes to crowd/audience etiquette

there have been some good crowds in Valo id say champs LA with eg the crowd was pretty good (although definitely a lower level than cs) as well as LOCK//IN brazil

also riot markets the game real differently, like the "f apeks" chant would never be allowed on a riot broadcast just cause of the nature of their brand and sponsors

Then why do you even care about the crowd difference? There's always going to be people whining, ignore them.

and the way CS events design the stage. valve also dont interfere with crowd rules and stuff makes them generating so much hype, third party organizers marketing

Nah I doubt it will change over time, at least not that significantly. Thing is cs lans has already started with some ten random bald albanian 30 yos at cafe screaming the most vile shit to each other with the other dudes roaring behind their shoulders. The energy was always there, and I guess its gonna be hard for val to get there even in 10 years
