When will they be competitive?

Btw, I 100% support gamechangers and think it's necessary for the growth of the scene early on, but I have to ask the question: At what point will female teams become competitive with top male teams?

1-2 years?
3-5 years?
5-10 years?
Will the two scenes always be separated?

Even though all female tournaments are good for the scene right now, I think it could, ironically enough, actually make it take longer for the scene to develop because these teams will not be exposing themselves to actual T1 teams

3-5 years. When new talent develops. If Riot supports Female pro play from the start. It should only take that amount of time for them to start competing well with top teams. 3 years to probably have some small talent. 5 years to be competing regularly. At least that should be the goal.

Ok. It'll prob be mixed rosters. But the hope is that the scenes will not be divided soon at least. But female talent is most definitely possible as long as riot advocates for it.

Tbh I think they wont be super competitive, since there arent that many female pros atm. But I think game changers should go international and the winner should get a spot in champions. They can definetly compete with worse regions like OCE/South asia/Japan if they get some superteams

I could definitely imagine a female superteam
Not sure about Alter Ego celeste, but C9W and Gamelanders Purple definitely have some extremely talented players

IMO it's more likely to see a mixed gender roster dominate Valorant than a roster made up of only females.

They could definetly keep up with lower tier regions but there arent that many female esportlers wich makes it hard to get the good talent.
I hope game changers go international and the winner of the championship gets a play-in spot at champions

Never.

Esports has been around for over a decade and there has never been a single female (born female) that has been good enough to compete at the very highest level.

If it hasn’t happened yet, even once, I doubt it ever will.

I’m 36.

I played Wc3 tft on a semi pro team.

I have watched Dota/ Dota 2 / Sc2 /Valorant

As far as I know, there has never been a female that could compete at the highest level.

Scarlet was a great Zerg in sc2, but she was born a man.

I’m confused. Was there a female in the pro scene in Starcraft? 20 years ago? Or are you asking this because I said 10 years for esports?

I only picked 10 years because that’s about how long it has had huge international exposer and when I started seeing more girls start playing.

Yeah, I played at the top of the ladder on us east for Warcraft 3 before most of these kids were born.

I was one of the original gamers. I had an Atari when I was 4. I just never stopped loving games. I’m not as good as I used to be. Now I’m Gold in Valorant, but I still enjoy watching.

You claim to watch SC2 but you've never heard of Scarlett? The only female SC2 player to ever win a major. The only reason female players "can't compete at the highest level" is because for decades females were consider inferior in every way to males when it comes to playing video game. Up until very recently that was the mindset. Female players were set up to fail so what would be the point in even trying to go pro?

In Brazil Gamelanders Purple and B4 Angels are already reaching the bo3 stages of the VCT Open Qualifiers, maybe soon Gamelanders Purple will be able to play at least one stage of the Challengers Playoffs, in around 1 year +/-

Furthermore, in Brazil the women's teams scrim massively against the men's teams in the region, so they are improving fast

I remember u saying something about Havan Liberty scrimming both male and female teams which is definitely promising

Out of all the female teams, Gamelanders Purple really impressed me

How about never like in sports? Just from female nature they are just not made for being competitive. High stress, clear focus and fast precision was never needed for females since males did all of these jobs.
