great book, great movie

i started reading after the second movie came out and it is good

Just watched part 2 yesterday it is a good movie, hoping for part 3 to come sooner or I might start reading the books

part 2 is good and you need to watch part 1 to get the storyline.
But imo novel clears all

i think you should start by reading the book because theres so much being left out in the movie and also it takes away a lot of your imagination of what for example a thopter looks like. only thing i didnt like abt the books is that theyre very phylosophical meaning that theyre full of quotes and takes that the average man has trouble understanding.

I mostly read philosophy so if u are not interested in it tbh i don’t even know what to suggest. Maybe Faust by Goethe, Gravity’s rainbow (one of the hardest books i’ve ever read)

also recommend the trial by kafka and the sorrows of young werther, read them in german

i didn’t really get the hype tbh. the movies aren’t bad but i just couldn’t get myself to care about the conflict or most of the characters
