faker is the greatest of all time. Literally. Started his career in 2013, has won the MOST Worlds (Champions), MOST LCK (domestic league), and even after 11 years, he is still one of the best Mid laner itw.
He is probably the most iconic Esports player

Tbh there is almost no eSports like lol with this much longevity and such top team dominance. It's always been the top teams of regions especially lck in top 4 and recently lpl too. There is no eSports like that not even Cs. So as you said it's basically impossible in other eSports.

What a series but man G2. Credits to where they are due, they made T1 work hard for that win.
Game 4 was all Faker but Game 5 Zeus Ksante did not budge. That character is a fucking tank, even though Faker died but he got that kill and G2 just couldn't recover.

this is the main reason why league esports is even remotely comparable to regular sports
consistency and longevity just makes everything more prestigious
