i mean no disrespect to the igls cuz they do SO much for their team, but how the fuck do some of these igls hit radiant. fns's aim is dogshit, but his gamesense is godly and he's somehow radiant. same for vanity. i get in professional matches you're focusing on sm, but like i dont see fns hitting crazy shots in ranked

what am i doing wrong

Their aim looks dogshit in pro games bc they have to play vs 1000+ rr players who are just way faster, normal ranked is a bit different, they get easier lobbies (vsing aspas is infinitely harder than vsing random 600 rr guy), their aim is still low rad level with exceptions like enzo(this guy will get aim diffed by 300 rr players no cap)

Most IGL's can make up for the deficit in their aim by having good gamesense

in a ranked game?

Yes, even in ranked. The players tend to be worse in ranked, so it would be easier to outsmart them in theory.

Aim isn't just how good you can flick or click enemies head. There's gunfight aspect to aim and knowing what fights to take and whats advantageous for you, these are the things FNS and certain PRO players exceed in.

i agree with you 100%, but

YOU GET SHOT YOU DIE

Of course thats why having both is very good and only certain people have it, but its also showcasing that gunfight knowledge is more important than actual flicking and aim. FNS won a masters with "no aim" so take from what you get

yeah i know. ngl i posted this cuz i just didn't understand how they're consistently radiant but USUALLY go negative in officials. ik igls have a lot more to worry about than aim btw

oh really you can't judge kills, kills dont really mean shit. If anything NRG is proof to you good aim and kills don't mean shit

alright yeah you're right. tbh looking back the same could be said for people who do well in ranked but not in pro

he always duo queues with someone, though currently i believe he can hit radiant on his own since his aim has improved

some igls tend to just shut off their "igl" self and play ranked focusing on their aim. In tournaments, however, they have to focus on the "igl" part more so their aim tend to get worse. Well not all igls but some are like this in ranked
