Sage in EMEA comps

Picking a sage over a Skye, Kay/O or even a second duelist seems to be shooting yourself in the foot especially on ascent. Gambit has no info beyond Sova or any flashes to use on executes. Add to that the lack of Astra and its not hard to see why SMB is winning 8-0 on CT

what? sage is very good on ascent, skye is not that good on ascent since her flashes dont give that much info because site is very open, its hard to flash the whole site aswell. also noone really uses kay/O effectivly in EMEA or NA besides 100T. gambit sucks on attack anyways, especially since ascent is very CT sided (54 percent i think)

Sage was meta months ago on ascent. None of the top 4 NA teams run her anymore. They either use Skye, Kay/O or another duelist (i.e. Raze for Envy). Teams like 100T who used to run Sage on Ascent have dropped her have looked 10 times better on that map ever since.

If you run double sentinel and your controller is an omen, you cant counter a jett op. Gambit struggled a lot on T side against Acend yesterday and SMB today

ah yes sage is bad because they lost to sage lol and they're losing because of no astra because smb clearly picked astra didn't they?? in mirror match comps only true skill prevails so even if their comp apparently sucks they both have the same disadvantages and therefore the only way smb can be better is if they are playing better :D think before you speak thanks <3

Whoever starts CT side ends up snowballing rounds. If Gambit started CT, they very well could have won
