Do the teams that get to Shanghai automatically qualify for Champs? And then I assume that the teams with the most points in each region are 4th seed

No, the top 3 teams in Stage 2 and the most points one qualify i think

Thankfully no. I prefer having teams qualify from Stage 2 playoffs. Id prefer an LCQ for the last slot than the Champs points but i guess schedule was too tight for that.
