US peak is either right now or right after ww2 (when we still had the Philippines as a colony)
UK was after ww1 in 1919, as thats when they had the most land area after gaining german and ottoman land

Us's peak is definitely not now. Not even close tbf. Ofc if you will look back after 2000 years you could say they peaked in the 1900s and early 2000s but if ymwe are this close on the matter, we can easily say they peaked from 1945 to like 1980
