Its not even his fault to begin with. If the plan for leaf to switch the the sentinel role was always on the table, then i dont understand why icy of all people would be the person to play duelist. I can kinda see how leaf on sentinels might be on some less type shit, but icy is WAYYYYY worse than qck. Icy literally has ZERO impact. I think was a part of eg and ppl call him a “scrim demon” but how do you even rationalize dropping a core member for someone who didn’t even get to see the field last year??? Why even ponder talking that risk? You literally just picked up who as an individual is a top 5 player in Americas, and all the chemistry in the world with the 4 members. Theyve been to internationals together and you drop him for a quote on quote, scrim demon?!?!

This is the 6th player conundrum
They have to be good enough to actually be a sub, but very good players aren’t willing to sit on a bench as a 6th player
So u get players like icy that are decent but struggle on tier 1

theres definitely better options but letting leaf go in everytime was bad cos he is consistently shooting heads. not worth letting him die. hes the reason g2 put up a good fight against lev. he won them map 2 easily
