why is EMEA the worst out of the 3 leagues rn? (china gets a pass bc the league has existed for a year less)
like the talent is clearly there but the teams don't seem to properly utilize it and inconsistency is through the roof
Moon999 [#2]cause they're all still on cs lmfaoooo
dead game.
50% their player base are gambling addicts who spend more time trading skins
other 50% have to play on 3rd party servers (FACEIT) cuz official ones are filled with hackers (Garbage Anti cheat)
The other regions are like 3-4 regions combined into one super region, so they have the top teams of those sub-regions. For example Na had Optic, Brazil had LOUD, LATAM had LEV. Then they could build strong teams from the rest of the massive talent pool. They also have high amounts of talent (because they have so many region combined) and a lot more upcoming talent. EMEA is just the same as it was before franchising, so they need time for enough new talent to step up and bring up the lower teams so they are not just tier 3 fodder.

game itself is in a bad state but esports isn't and it's just basically eu's game, they sent na to val :0
uhh i'd say there's like 3 main reasons
1) yeah, CS is just a bigger game, and most the people who are passionate about tac fps play it instead of val
2) talent distribution, there's so many teams who are like... in and around the top regionally, but so far they've just done ass internationally, right now any 3 of FNATIC, VIT, NAVI, Karmine Corp, TH, FUT can qualify, and i don't think it's a gimme for literally any of them
3) igl and coaching, self explanatory enough i think
