Nah you need a good team overall, not just one single top fragging player to carry the rest on his back. DFM has improved a lot but if the rest can't keep up to Meiy's pace, they have no chance of getting into playoffs, let alone Shanghai. Something in Sengoku back then is a good example of this. Likewise, if Lev leaves everything up to Aspas, they won't get far into the tournament as well
Fragging is not all there is to a team. It doesn't matter if you buy star players. And LEV is a good example of this. You need people who vibe with each other. Anthem is a good IGL. Who do you want them to replace him with? Pick up someone random IGL that is putting up numbers but then ruin the whole fucking team?
It's not one or the other, you need a good team overall in terms of vibe and mechanical talent. LEV could've been demolished by SEN if Aspas had an off day and nobody else stepped up. There are challenges with the language barrier, but if Meiy joins a good international org with players of his calibre, he'd be way better than wasting his prime years trying to carry a team of average players
As much as I hate to admit it, cum and t0x stepped up last match. LEV could NOT have won without those rounds, just like how they also couldn't have won without those Aspas rounds. Both is important. A team of mid players can win the champions just by a single variable change. The proof of that is EG.
And if Meiy goes to an international team, that would be career suicide lmfao what is bro saying
