This is going to sound like mad glazing but if a team can come back from a dominant win in a masters tournament, then get 2-0'd by a team that lost to CLOUD FUCKING 9, then it's safe to say Americas is by far the best and most competitive region rn. Sorry EMEA or APAC fans, I usually you the benefit of the doubt, but it's pretty clear the lever of competition in Americas is far better rn

NA LOOKS the most competitive right now although apac isnt that far behind.Now even DFM looking solid with their new coaching staff, even NAs best IGL Puchan knows how good they are while PRX,DRX,T1 And geng all fighting for shanghai spots.(and potentially DFM copium)

Forgot to mention EMEA, imo they look more competitive than ever with TH and KC dropping games now, and liquid almost beating NAVI(Lost due to TMV curse).Even FNC is also struggling to beat these other teams.Now it looks like any team could make shanghai tbh (except BBL, KOI and maybe GM8)

lets be honest, KC and heretics did not do well at madrid, so its not too surprising that they lost to FUT and VIT, who are each proven to be good teams with actual chemistry, I wouldn't even call it an upset. PRX beating GenG is different because we had no idea how good Jingg would be on his first game back
