Black People

In every other sports could see them playing at the highest level possible but I haven't seen anyone in esports(although only follow val esports).
Guys I'm not racist I really want to know why it is the case?

idk why black people dont play val tbh (im half black) A lot of the black friends I met in school are console people

less infrastructure to get in + possibly less interest in the region

same for chess

african scene not properly invested in + higher number of console players in african american population + large minority elsewhere in the world so not represented very well

football and basketball cheaper than pc or console

Well because of racism in history a lot of black families in western countries are poorer. Pc gaming is generally an expensive hobby compared to sports or even just console gaming. Games like fortnite, madden, smash had more black players because you can pick up those games on console

Not many black people are into pc gaming because of how expensive it is compare to the counterpart of consoles, as well as (to me) it seems like you'd have to be playing fps on pc for a good part of your life to reach the level of play to get into the pro scene.

idk I swear there are some black people in pro esports in general, no where near big a difference as male/female if you consider it
