stakes doesnt nearly mean entertaining or hype, its about the stakes of the matches which i already explained it. how can u associate with that?
the stakes of matches were way too low to even begin with due to 8 teams. like this is the only tournament since vct began which has the least amount of teams in it. lock in has single elim for sure but has very high stakes on a single match cuz if u lose one series u go home which makes teams play at their S tier gameplay.
also, idk what tf u r sayin? u thought everybody expected edg to win this? how come loud beating edg was a "SHOCK" ? there have been many matches that have got worse than this. like Gambit vs G2 in masters berlin where they 13-0'd them on icebox with a 2-0 scoreline
LOUD vs EDG is memorable because of how shocking the outcome was, it will be remembered because of how bad LOUD stomped EDG,
