As some may know, Overwatch League has lost basically all its sponsors amid stagnated growth and the controversy that surrounds Blizzard. This leads me to my conclusion. If all the Korean players switch to Valorant and get support from more Korean orgs, it will save the region. Korea would have much more competition and eventually would become equal with NA and EU. It will basically be multiple teams of 5 seoldams terrorizing the region and world. Korean jett would become much more than a meme, it would become something feared by every other region in the world. Valorant currently only has tier 2 Overwatch pros except for sinatraa, now imagine 5 sinatraas on the same team!!!

I don't think so. Pros only care about their income tbh. As long as OWL pays them more, there is no reason to switch to Valorant. It's like top csgo players don't need to move to Val unless the scene completely dies like NA

ok fine tier 1.5, there are some decent players like Corey and Sayaplayer

babybay had much better teams than corey, even though he may have been a worse player
also i dont know much about patiphan in OW, but i assume he was pretty good, but switched because of little opportunity
