the more i scroll down in liquipedia t2 na tournaments more valorant t1 players i see.. the more i scroll down in liquipedia t3 emea tournaments more valorant t1 emea players i see..
are we truly witnessing the real competition? or are we watching a clash of trash from cs..
i think ill quit valorant and watch/play cs. even derke, the emea goat, was a nobody in cs

although this is blade thread there are ppl who actually think this....
val and cs are different games
cs has existed earlier
obviously cs skills are going to transfer over to val skills
people have played cs for like years and years before val was a thing
also just because u suck at one game doesnt mean ur not good in the other
like for example simple has never hit radiant (or at least that i know of)
also there are a SHIT TON of cs pros
if u were a nobody that doesnt mean ur bad, the talent pool is HUGE u can be top 0.001% and still find many players better than you are

s1mple never hit radiant, however, I fully believe he would be the valorant goat had he, in an alternate universe, played valorant
these two games are similar enough that a player's ceiling in one would be pretty similar to his ceiling in the other one. just like if donk played valorant, he would be the goat raze or whatever.
the fact nobodies can dominate the scene speaks to how bad the competition in valorant still is, however, I believe once zoomers take over the game, it will be more competitive than cs because it gets more new players than cs
watching valorant is like watching elisa masters or any t2 cs tournament, it's fun, but it's full of cs rejects. In my opinion, it undermines the scene

true he isn't 100% wrong but were these pros he is talking about the most experienced players in CS or at least had enough experience to compete with teams like Faze or Navi when they played? CS has been out for a while with a huge amount of established players with a lot of experience which makes it difficult for players to get their foot in the door. A new game like valorant allowed the best of these players to get top level experience at a game and become the best.
