ButterflyEffect23 [#3]I think Arabic people don't use pronounces other than he/she
In french too but they used "iel" which is a recent creation (that nobody used and is not recognized)
AlexSMTxx [#4]Arabic (like many other languages) doesn't have neutral pronouns. Hence why the nonbinary thing won't work in many places. You forcefully have to use a male or female pronoun whether you want it or not, it's just how the language works.
yeah but typically gender neutral in arabic is associated with the male pronouns, im speaking from a muslim background we use the male pronouns to refer to god but in reality god doesnt fit into binary terms

yep, this is the problem with neutral pronouns in many languages. Since many languages don't have neutral pronouns people pretty much have to come up with new, weird words that aren't recognized by 99% of people in their respective country, or even less in a semi-professional setting. I'm not French, but I'd bet my soul if you used "iel" in front of French people they would just look weird at you or be confused.
jumb0 [#6]what are u guys talking abt lmfao im arab and yes there is (antom/hom)
does that really work tho? cus that actually implies multiple people
valkin [#9]does that really work tho? cus that actually implies multiple people
yes but sometimes in reference to people of higher power or whatever its called like hadratokom no?

that is still the masculine version of that word though no?
AlexSMTxx [#13]exactly my point lol
yea but your acting like the concept of non binary still doesnt exist in arabic, which is wrong and it is commonly applied with god
